Stephania Borine
I’m 39 years old and married to Daniel, and we’re parents of Alexander, who’s 6. Originally from Guayaquil, Ecuador, I’ve called the United States home for over nine years — arriving here as a diplomat and embracing every opportunity this country has offered me.
With a Master’s degree in Marketing and a career as a journalist, I now run my own business: Ecuadelivery, a U.S.-to-Ecuador courier service. Alongside my entrepreneurial journey, I felt driven to give back.
That’s why I started the Spanish Explorers Club — free Spanish-language classes for K–elementary kids, held outdoors around Calabasas. It’s my way of sharing my culture and language, honouring the many gifts this country has given me. I believe the world changes one kid at a time, and through compassion, equality and love, we shape tomorrow.
I believe in inclusion, kindness and the power of education. Teaching these children is more than language — it’s about building community, connection and hope.
